Introducing super-easy, 4-ingredient Peanut Butter Breakfast Flapjacks — a quick, nutritious option for breakfast or a grab-and-go snack.

This recipe was created in collaboration with FREEE. (Sponsored)

These flapjacks are ideal for meal prep: they take just five minutes to mix and 15 minutes to bake, making them perfect for busy mornings.

Why you’ll love these flapjacks

  • Extremely easy to make
  • Nutritious and filling
  • Only four ingredients
  • Great for on-the-go breakfasts
  • Gluten free and vegan

For this recipe I use FREEE Corn Flakes, which keep the ingredient list simple and add a lovely texture when baked.

Ingredients

FREEE also make vegan, gluten-free porridge oats and a range of organic breakfast products that make it easy to start the day simply and cleanly.

FREEE Cereal

These flapjacks are made by mixing mashed bananas, peanut butter and cinnamon, then folding in the corn flakes. Peanut butter boosts the protein, helping to keep you satisfied until your next meal.

Cereal Ingredients

The corn flakes add crunch and, after baking, a pleasant chewiness. Once combined, press the mixture into a lined square tin and bake for 15 minutes.

Breakfast Flapjacks

Within five minutes you’ll have the mixture ready to bake — it’s that simple!

Breakfast Flapjacks

Line a 9×9-inch (or similar square) baking tin with baking paper. Press the mixture down firmly so it compacts well, which helps the flapjacks bake evenly and hold their shape for slicing.

Breakfast Flapjacks

When they come out of the oven, allow the flapjacks to cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into squares. The result is chewy, satisfying squares that travel well and keep you fueled.

Breakfast Flapjacks

Store them in the fridge for 2–3 days or freeze portions for later — perfect for weekly meal prep.
